What you watching? - Quarantine Edition (1 Viewer)

I'm just happy to have sports back (for now)

Yeah it is but it certainly makes it better to have our pels in the mix

I just dont know if football has a snowballs chance in hell of making it

I am watching Action Jackson and something occurred to me. I think it time that Action Jackson got its recognition in the history of film. How many movies before this with wide commercial appeal had the hero being black and the bad guy white? Plus it had big actors for the time. Carl Weathers, Craig Nelson, Sharon Stone, and Rober Davi and Sonny Landham (look them up and u will know)

Always been surprised that Carl Weathers didn't have a bigger career....he seemed taylor made for the action films of the 80s and 90s

That period of Disney history is one of the most interesting to me, because through the 70's and early 80's they became so stagnant and creatively lost that they were very nearly the victim of a hostile takeover. It's crazy to think of Disney as anything other than a monolithic powerhouse but they had burned through the projects Walt had in development before he died by like 73/74 and the next decade was brutal for them. The animation department churned out nothing but disappointments and was close to being shut down completely, the parks weren't innovating, there was no expansion. It wasn't until Michael Eisner and Frank Wells took over that things turned around. And then of course Wells died and Eisner's second decade at the helm was a mess of its own.
I’m not here for your Bednobs and Broomsticks dismissal

Better call soul season 1. So much for the honeypot, keep the lousy 700 as well deadhead. Cause that is the point. Episode one is absolute gold, perfect. Copper season 2. bb is a nasty sucker punching backstabbing stinger for sure.foreman going to have his hands full early but he wins that one late. And that's just the the first episode. Another first rate show without a doubt.

what is surprising is how honest they are considering it’s Disney+ it is airing on. Sometimes brutal honesty when it comes to failures.

movie "bound" is fantastic softcore lesbian pr0n.

movie "lobster" is forked up, but highly recommended. my only issue is that i'd ask to be a blue whale.

Anyone watched Lilyhammer?
I see that several people who are in Norsemen were in Lilyhammer
Might check it out
Been a while since I binged through it. I rate it okay to good. The Norwegian locals are highly entertaining. VanZandt is pretty much his character from The Sopranos.

Most recently binged the free seasons of the Outlander, Peaky Blinders and just finished the first season of Hanna. Enjoyed Mandalorian on my daughter's Disney trial. For short, non-committal fillers I rewatch episodes of Parks & Rec, Life in Pieces and 30 Rock.

You should add Community to your non-committal fillers.

community is so underrated. great suggestion.

like parks and rec, great to pick up as needed, yet binge worthy, for a show to watch

I watched the first two seasons when it first came out, but lost interest by the time they got to season 3.

I have tried to start Babylon Berlin, but would like a review if anyone has seen it before I commit any more time to it. I think I am about to start Dark and the second season of the Umbrella Academy.

First season of Babylon Berlin was fantastic (but haven’t started the 2nd for some reason)
Start Dark only if you are ready to invest in a show - if you dive into it, it will be great - if you try to casually watch it, it will drive you nuts

I decided not to do Umbrella s2 - reviews I saw essentially said that the problems that started to unspool in s1 continue and then some
