Jobs you’ve had (2 Viewers)

I worked in the Golf Business starting in caddy shack at 15 and working up to pro shop. I also had a job at a driving range for a while

I then got a job as an investigator and eventually opened my own company

That led me into a specialty with auto theft and went to work in the car business to help a dealership chain

got back out and into business for myself around the time GPS came out

worked for a home finance company for a while after the storm

quality control/security and theft prevention for restaurants

please post this video

I wish i could.. i have it packed away somewhere on a VHS tape, and a couple of my family members have it on VHS as well.. the psychic hotline commercial ran for 3 or 4 years in the late 90s, usually on basic cable at 2 or 3 in the morning... One of these days I’ll find my old VHS tapes, and take them to wherever you go to convert them to streaming (any advice on the best place to go, or how to get that done, would be appreciated)- then I’ll gladly (cringe-ly) post it.

I remember :)

Ha, yep.. I’m trying not to be too specific on here, but there were actually a couple different places.. the one you remember , where my title was ‘Floor Manager’, but i was basically a glorified bouncer.. and another place down the street that was a little more of a, shall we say, ‘traditional’ place. :hihi:

Worked delivering the Times Picayune (4 routes in Kenner)
Worked as a busboy at Chateau Estates Country Club
Worked at the Sizzler next to the Kenner Bowling alley.
Worked at a TV repair shop in River Ridge
Worked for an office supply company on Camp Street, including making deliveries around the city
Worked as a detailer and mechanic for a used car lot.
Worked as an ASE mechanic for a new car dealership.
Worked in a sign shop.
Worked on an apprenticeship at a Hammond FBO to become a certified A&P certificate after earning my Private Pilot's license.
Worked as a bulldozer operator.
Worked for a mining operation, complete with blasting & assaying skills. (Dynamite is so cool!)
Worked offshore as a welder's helper.
Worked painting airplanes and doing general aircraft maintenance at a seaplane base.
Worked for PHI helicopters doing maintenance both on & offshore
Worked as the owner & operator of a computer and electronics repair shop.
Worked for an electrical installation company that included rebuilding electric motors.
Worked as a CNC plasma cutting programmer and operator
Worked as a lead singer and frontman for a local band
Worked designing equipment for crewboats and other safety related products.
Currently working as a CAD designer & draftsman for a fabrication company that supports the offshore oil & gas industry.
Little doubt that I'll be forced to look for something else the way our local economy is going. :mecry:

Maybe something essential, like McDonald's. I haven't tried that yet. :idee-puis-non:

I just remember that you gave me the hookup. I'm forever in your debt.
