Still waiting to hear more details, but watching this cop shot this guy in the back 7 times at close range is just wrong. Stories are saying he was trying to stop a fight and his kids were in the vehicle as he was shot. This is just wrong how this happened, like a forking execution. Hopefully bodycam video will be available to get a better story of what happened. Be warned the video is disturbing.

Yeah from what is seen here, this is just wrong. Nothing like what happened on Lafayette

most of these do look like murder to me. But just to play devils advocate, how do we know he wasn't about to turn around with a gun. What led up to this? Was he actually under arrest when he was on the other side of the car? If they have three guys why doesn't one have a taser drawn instead of a gun? If he was under arrest, he never should have been allowed to reach that driver's side door.

The article says that he was tazed to no effect, but it does not seem to be in the video.

I wonder if the cops were fearing for the children's' lives and maybe they thought he would drive off with them and they would be in danger.
A lot of unknowns here, but I can't justify cops shooting an unarmed guy in the back.

I live down the road from here. The guy had 2 arrest warrants. 1 in Racine for waving a gun in a bar, resisting arrest etc including a few bites from Rin Tin Tin. The warrant in Kenosha was for unlawful entry, felony domestic abuse and felony sexual assault. The video doesn't show where he was also tazed as they tried to get the guy under control. People are demanding justice, but I bet that woman's father and family believe he just got it.

no that is never a good thing. But if you allow an angry person to reach into a car and then turn around, that won’t end well often either. I’m not justifying, I’m just saying the mistake happened before he opened that car door.

This is why, while still P'Oed, I'm still holding judgment until more comes out. But damn, that's still hard to do.

Its hard to see man I won't deny it. I dont know whats its like to be black, but damn just stop. If your rights were violated so be it, live to fight it in court. Again no clue what its like to be black so its easy for me to say "just stop."

What's worse are the stories saying his kids were in the car. Two big problems with that:

1. You're sitting there watching your dad getting shot multiple times.
2. What if there was a richocet or a child in the passenger seat?

I agree. I wonder if the cops are worried about escalating force in today's climate, they don't want to use any force and then it gets to a point where they go from nothing to shooting. I don't know the solution.
