Mayor LaToya Cantrell says she will not allow fans into the Superdome for the Saints game against the Packers later this month.

Same as the majority of the league. And the $25k fans in KC last night didn't look like an awesome fan experience to me. But if it's easier, just assume that Robert Craft is the mayor because he said his stadium will be empty as well.

I voted for her before I moved to Houston, but I have serious buyers remorse (I’m sorry I did that to y’all). She isn’t what was promised. She is openly holding saints football hostage for money. And cancelling tourism in a tourism dependent economy. She deserves to be recalled just for the poor workers bodies taking 10 months to get removed from the Hard Rock.

I understand the mindset of a delayed re-opening to what the rest of the State is doing. Especially with the population size.
However, New Orleans is almost completely reliant on tourism.

The city would be making a small fortune on Sunday if bars were allowed to have fans in for games.

Or you know...have limited capacity seating and no tailgating and keep the city in Stage 2 for a while.

This just seems like an inability to compromise.

I saw that as well. She wants money (That was promised) for doing what she should have done (hard to argue there), but she is cutting off the city’s nose in spite of the states face.

All you need to know about her is she still doesn’t know how to say the name of the city like a native.
