Roddy White gets consideration for Pro Football HoF...but Colston doesn't (1 Viewer)

Well it's not over maybe Colston will get consideration. Can't he still get consideration?

I would say that Colston’s numbers are actually better. Especially, when you account for the games played and the target/reception %. Definitely one of the most underrated receivers to ever play the game! And I’m not saying that because I’m a Saints fan!

Unfortunately, they will point to those four asterisks that White has and Colston doesn't. Pro Bowl selections. Colston got snubbed on Pro Bowl appearances and things like that SHOULDN'T matter because it's not like everyone who does get selected belongs in the hall of fame.

Watch, the same will be made by some that Drew doesn't have any MVPs, so therefore he couldn't be as good as those other guys, when we all know he SHOULD have had at least a couple by now.

Colston was consistent throughout his career and just got passed over for the Pro Bowl year after year. And that will end up being the knock on any consideration - even when his stats are similar to others who get considered.

Funny thing is if Roddy "Push-off" White were flagged just 1/4 of the times he should have been, he's not close to Colston's numbers.

Colston his rookie year put up 70 catches 1038 yards and 8 tds.

He missed the 10th, 11th, and 12th game. He also only played 1 series in the final game.

Had he competed in all 16 games...he would have posted a line of 93 catches 1384 yards and 10 tds.

As a 7th round rookie from Hofstra.
