Ahh, back so soon. Can anyone catch Liverpool? Will City finagle Messi (lol)? Can ManU put it all together? The new season begins today!

Arsenal's last two games resulted in an FA Cup trophy and Community Shield trophy. With that kind of momentum, I am expecting a very lackluster draw against newly promoted Fulham. :hihi: Up 1-0 at the half so we shall see.

Pulisic wearing 10 this year for Chelsea. šŸ˜

I just finished a mixed doubles match and my partners name was Chelsea.

Each time she hit a winner I couldn't help myself... "CHELSEA! CHELSEA! CHELSEA! chant.

I'm excited to see Pulisic this year. Especially as we roll into WC qualifying play.

I just want my Red Devils to parlay that late season play into new season I'm looking forward to weekend mornings on NBCSN

just saw a crawl that said Naomi Osaka was sitting out of the French Open - i was like dang this is kinda early for that announcement - then i remembered

Will Mourinhos' ego stifle Bale?

Saw it at Manchester United....he plays favorites to a fault. Will be interesting.

aaaaaaaand a quick google search

Have fun Spurs. lol

That's really the question for the whole team, when will Mourinho make them implode? He usually makes a run at something before it happens, but it appears that he has sped up the process with Tottenham. I heard he is already talking about running off Dele Alli.

And Bale is interesting. Still a great player but he has injury issues. Then again between him and Kane, they may end up having a striker for all of their matches this season.

Yep and the job of manager is to get players to accept their roles w/in the team structure. He likes to create anadversarial atmosphere ( competition wise ) which can lead to rifts between players, ultimately undermining the team structure.

Spurs will be good if he can avoid that. I just dont think he can as evidenced by his "we have too many players..." statement. Who says that aloud to the press?

He does. the "Special one" lolol

So, has NBC basically moved half or more of their EPL coverage to their Peacock streaming service? It seems like it. I haven't seen games on NBC yet and NBCSN seems to have very few games. It wouldn't bother me so much except I really don't want yet another pay streaming service and it looks like most matches are on the premium tier which is $5 per month.

Edit: So, I found the schedule and it looks like they have put the majority of games on Peacock, but they don't say when it's the regular free Peacock or when it's Peacock Premium:

They only have the schedule up through September so this could just be a test month to see if they get get people to try Peacock Premium, but it's annoying and it could cause their EPL coverage to lose viewers to the Bundesliga on Fox Sports. Seems like an odd move since I think NBC was starting to get traction with the EPL in the U.S. Now they are risking it to try to sell their terrible steaming service. There is nothing else on Peacock that I would want to watch other than the EPL.

FWIW, Arsenal v. West Ham is supposed to be on NBCSN at 2:00 today.

It's only $4.99/mo but as you stated before, I'm not paying for yet another service.

Hopefully this is a test month and they come to their senses. But we are talking network execs sooo... Lol

As you might expect, it's not going well for NBCS on social media. Look at the responses to this Tweet. Lol.
