I see a lot of things the last 2 weeks that are concerning, but I also understand where we are. I watch a lot of football, and every team looks sloppy except the Ravens. It's actually amazing how they look to be in mid-season form. No preseason and no offseason workouts has equaled no chemistry all around the NFL.

I think everyone is effected by the lack of a preseason. It's effecting injuries, especially the non-contact ones, and it's effecting cohesiveness.

I'm not saying we are in good shape. I'm only saying that I'm reserving judgement about the team and individual performances until week 5. If we haven't pulled it together by then I'll start to worry.

We have one of the most veteran cohesive teams in football. The lack of pre season was one of the reasons most people were picking us to start hot while other newer teams learned to gel. Our core has been together for years now yet younger teams are playing much much better than us. Why? QB play. I mean Justin Hebert was notified 10 seconds before the kickoff that he was starting and the dude looked like a damn vet out there. Justin Hebert got no OTAs or pre season snaps. He didn't even run the with 1's in training camp.

Week 5?

Justin Hebert has been the exception, not the rule. You have those types of outliers all the time, the question is how are the majority of teams playing, and it's really sloppy. I have sat two Sundays all day flipping game to game on Sunday Ticket and it's a mess. On the coverage last night they even talked about it.

You can pick out the outliers (Baltimore, 1 game from Hebert, Aaron Rodgers) but you're still going to end with the overwhelming majority of teams looking sloppy. Does that mean it's just that with us? No. It means we really don't know yet.

Don't forget Russel Wilson. Dude has 10 incompletions and 9 TD's.
