Mainly because it makes no sense. And in the NFL, when something makes no sense, it happens.

I can understand a guy having a bad game. We got outplayed at every position last night. Chalk it up to a bad night. We have far too much talent on the field and on the staff to be as bad as we looked. Hats off to Gruden and the Raiders. There will be a sense of urgency this week in Metairie.

Yeah, I know a lot of people are basing the ability to win solely on Brees' play, but to me nothing has changed. Brees definitely has to do better than he did last night, but that was a total team loss. The defense got torched all night. Over 100 yards in penalties on top of that. Clean that stuff up, get Thomas back, hope Brees plays a little better, and we'll be fine.

Mainly because we own the Packers in the Superdome.

The Saints are better suited to stop the Packers IMO. Rodgers doesn´t target TEs much and his best weapon will be Aaron Jones. Let´s hope the O-line can keep the pass rush off of Brees. And yes... no penalties!

I wonder if the defense keed off Jacobs planning to shut-down Jacobs and the run. Jacobs is top notch. We did a good job at shutting him down. Malcolm Brown was all over the Raiders backfield making great plays and Roach had a bunch of run stops. We sure were not prepared for Waller and some unknown receivers.

Yep, we had absolutely no answer for Wallace. Take him out of it, we might win that game. Looked like Jimmy Graham in his prime for us.

Every week is a new week.

We were 2-4 going into a game vs the Packers at the Dome and coming off an ugly 24-23 loss to Detroit in 2014.
We beat Green Bay that Sunday night 44-23.

We're a much better team than 2014. It's not out the ordinary to think we can beat GB in our home. Should we feel good about it? Not after what we saw last night. But it's not some inconceivable task.

What happend to real fans faith man faith drew brees and sean peyton kept football here and folks just turn their backs on them like we weren't in a game with all those penalties till the damn end

Honestly if we can clean up our defense penalities we should still win our division easily.

Have you seen our schedule? With all the injuries going around it's pretty soft.

Carolina twice
Atlanta twice
Denver
Chicago
SF
Chargers
Lions
Eagles
Vikings

I mean, we should not have that many problems IF we can stay healthy and get our act together.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Saints beat down the Packers.
The NFL works like that.
