The driver went into a business. Probably the Shell across from Tulane. It was 6200 Claiborne.

Yea that's doesn't surprise me if that's the one they stopped at. I know that strip mall area gets a lot of crime reports from when I was looking at renters apps and crime maps. Weird though because you go three more blocks and everything calms down.

It's like over by me in Mid City. The Tulane Ave/Carralton intersection has all kinds of crime reports all the time but then you go 500 feet and cross Banks and they just stop.

After reading more details of what unfolded, I would be questioning the driver big time. Appears this could have been a setup to me. Call me cynical all you want, but I hardly trust or put anything past someone doing something so brazen, nowadays. Seems very odd, they just happened to be in the perfect place and at the perfect time.

This typifies the city, in how it works. It is like no other city I know of. And I have been to many, including the biggest cities.

This season has to end with them winning the Lombardi! First it was Sean getting COVID, then Drew's drama during the summer, followed by AK's trade scare and the MT drama, then Saints vs. the Mayor, and now this? You can't even script a better reality show!

Also MT's and Dav's injuryies, Sanders and Cook not showing up, and Ms Gayle got the virus too! Too much nail-biting drama, but everything is working out.
