N/S Arthur Blank firing Matt Ryan too? (2 Viewers)

He’s a really good QB, but hasn’t been clutch when it mattered. I do believe he could thrive under Payton, I believe. Just speaking hypothetically, how sweet would it be if he did thrive and the Falcons witness it while they continue sucking? Either way, I think it’s time to go with a younger QB, whoever that may be, but I won’t be shocked if we end up rolling with a Vet for a year or so while the search happens.

Saying Matt would be better with SP isn't saying much. I'll bet we can name maybe a dozen of QBs who would.

The deal isn't in the cards on both ends.

If they cut Matt Ryan, my sole reason for the Saints to sign him is the absolute meltdown the tens of falcons fans left would have if he won a Super Bowl for the Saints.
I can get down with this theory. Get down get down get down, woo woo

Crazy to think he would say Matt has the job before he even has a GM in place. You put a team of football minds together to help with those decisions and evaluations.

Matt Ryan appears to be close to the end at 35. When Drew was 35 it was 2014. Five full seasons ago lol.

The New Orleans Saints have had a first ballot HoF QB since 2006. That's still hard to wrap my head around. A decade and a half of excellence at the position. Unreal. We're so spoiled.

yea and it’s funny to think of the Falcons fans who have likely been thinking for at least four years “man in a couple of years Drew will be gone and we will have the best QB in the division”. How’s that working out for you lol

Brees was far from a HOF when he signed with the Saints in 2006. At best he was above average with great upside.

Matt Ryan in our offense would only look at Michael Thomas and Jared Cook and force the ball to them.

When he dont pull the trigger on them he would buckle.
