The first conflict this year they showed the Saints. This week is the second conflict and they're showing Dallas. I checked out their Facebook page last time to see if there were many complaints. They had maybe three people..all of them Texas residents in the KMSS coverage area. If you want to help, send an email to the station manager. I told him I'm going to get an antenna that will pick up the Monroe Fox station and use it for all of my Fox watching.

doesn't surprise me at all...I stayed in Shreveport at a college buddies house and was blown away by all the cowboys fans in that city. Went out to a bar and nothing but cowboy jerseys and I asked everyone why they were, in my opinion, selling out their home team and they said it was because they could drive a couple of hours and be at a Dallas game versus a 5 hour drive and having to stay overnight for a saints game. It was hard to catch a saints game if Dallas was playing at the same time. My buddy is a diehard saints fan and hates his city for how they treat the fans just because of proximity to that disgusting franchise

As someone who lives here I can say that's definitely an overstatement of the situation here. Maybe pre-2006. It's a different story now. Go on the KMSS page anytime they show the Saints over the Cowboys. The few complaints they have are always from people who live in Texas. It's true east Texas is in their coverage area. It's unfortunate that they can't get one of the East Texas Fox Stations. I posted some pictures from the Shreveport Academy last year when the topic came up.

Nope. I can watch it on Sunday Ticket at my parents house. This isn't about me. This is about the people who don't have direct tv or can't buy sunday ticket. I had to deal with it as a kid. I had to listen to Jim and Archie a lot during the Dallas Super Bowl years. I won't stop fighting this until east texas has their own fox station or just accepts their fate as Saints fans.

I remember in early 2000s when Saints merchandise was hard to find in Shreveport. It always disgusted me that in my Grandparents neighborhood it was 95 percent Cowboys paraphernalia from the late 80s till 2008 the last time I visited my grandparents neighborhood.

Showing Academy doesn't mean anything. The local stores don't even order their own stock.

They aren't flexing these conflicts to CBS? I thought they were always doing this now, because KSLA's first choice is the Saints, and they could only get them if they are playing an AFC team and it is CBS's game or a situation like this.

I applaud your dedication. Bravo Zulu

Oh don’t worry I’ll send him my thoughts. You should be seeing the Saints!

Been there done that... I lived in Shreveport for 11 years and had to deal with that mess

Ah, they're still fighting the Battle of Shreveport when it comes to TV coverage  I'm rooting for the Who Dat Nation, of course.

Fought those battles for years myself back in the '80s when the Saints stunk, now that the tables are reversed, not surprised at all...

It's not CBS's game so they can't show it. KSLA would jump all over it if they could.
