Just like when we had Graham, Brees seem to get tunnel vision with Thomas because he catches everything. With less talent Brees goes through more progressions and seems to throw the ball around more. This makes our offense harder to defend. I don’t mind the offense we put on the field today. We could win 13 easily with an average/above average D.
I hope
When Thomas comes back Brees realizes he has Sanders, Calloway and Smith to throw to as well.

Agree. But that avg/above avg. defense might be a problem.

He's a better qb when his coach decides to run the ball and be balanced during the game. Running the ball and keeping Drew in a good down and distant with good plays is a winning formula
We won because of the pass today and our HOF QB. Had nothing to do with the run setting up the pass. That is what losing teams do.

SP offense short passing game is an extension of the run which is the Bill Walsh west coast offense. People don’t realize dink and dunk is running

He's just an amazing quarterback is what this showed today.

Carolina has to be scratching their heads how they never got us to punt the ball today.

Stack the box, stop the run. Make him throw to a very diminished group of receivers.

It seemed simple. Until it wasn't.

Unbelievable game by Drew with a bunch of unknowns. I don't think Brady could have done this or any other QB for that matter.

Really?.. Look, I bleed B&G but comments like this are so asinine & embarrassing. Brady is one of the GOATs cuz he played with WRs that are a bunch of unknowns & so did DB. Name a receiver from '04 that won the SB for the Pat's or 2001w/o Google. It's OK to say that TB12 is the GOAT because we have one too.

I get your point, however, they had a pretty good running game that year with Corey Dillon getting 1600 yards if I recall...a lot if credit has to go his way for that season.

Loved the way guys stepped up with their opportunities as well. We had what 3 UDFAs on the field balling out. Hope Callaway is ok
