Only 8 games with a team having a 98% win probability ended up losing in the past 15 seasons (1 Viewer)

I’d assume maybe the colts with a prime manning or pats/brady would have 1 or 2 of those games. Maybe saints/Dolphins 2009 game?

And 3 of those 8 belong to the Atlanta Falcons, in just the past 6 weeks.

Doing the math, that's a total of 3,584 games before this season in which that's happened only 5 times.

I hope the Saints weren't in that number!

Without looking it up, I'm guessing Atl has 4 and some combination of us, the chargers, the browns and the Lions make up the others.
The last 15 seasons would be the Brees era.

I don't ever remember such a terrible loss as being 98% probability of a win. We have probably been upper 80s before.

09 Dolphins is a great guess.

With just under 2 minutes to go in the half, the Dolphins up 24-3 and had a first and 10 from our 40 yard line. I'd like to know the probability right at that point. I still don't think it would be 98% because it's too early in the game. Probably was in the low to maybe even middle 90s.

Well it's even worse than that. 3576 wins out of 3584 games is a 99.8% win rate blown.

That Manning comeback where he scored I want to say 3 TDs in the last 4 minutes of a game, I'll try to track that one down.

Ok, so that was 2003, outside the 15 year window.

But in 2012, the Chargers led the Broncos 24-0 at the half. Not sure if that was 98% but had to be close.
