Indeed. It's time the laws catch up with the 21st century. There's no reason not to be able to ship alcohol, or marijuana for that matter.

Their 15 year might be the best bang for the buck with Speysides. Far better than their 18 year IMO
I recently discovered Teelings Irish whiskey. Its rum cask finished.Late to the party here but if you like smoother unmalted barley and I saw a few posts about Irish whiskey, then try and get a go on Green Spot. A step up from the regular offers from the bigger Irish brands. For scotch without the peat, if you can get it, try Auchentoshan American Oak. As already mentioned elsewhere, Islay whisky then you don't go far wrong with Lagavulin and a revelation for me in recent years is Japanese. I have a bottle of The Chita, a single grain Japanese which is pretty damn good.
My first experience of a Japanese was in a shipyard in China, owned by a Japanese company, spending the night with a group of Greek engineers. A heady mixture but the whisky so good I took a picture. When I got back home I showed the picture to the owner of our local whisky specialist. He told me the bottles are getting on for $300 a go.
Had some of this Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style this weekend and I really enjoyed it.
I also had some Maker's 46 at the same gathering, and the Old Forester blew it away.
I've heard good things about Japanese whiskey, anyone know a good one that isn't $300?
