Will people be happy if Taysom does well... (1 Viewer)

Well one thing for sure is that either Hill will crush it or not..............then we'll know. I know I would be more comfortable if we had a bigger sample size of him throwing the ball but it is what it is at this point.

The thing is that the Falcons know as much as we know pertaining to whether Hill can beat them with his arm or not.

There
No logical Saints fan, or decent human being for that matter, hopes that Taysom fails.
And there's the problem. Logical fans and decent human beings... it's the others that are usually the loudest. First incomplete pass and folks will be screaming for winston. Ask Miles Brennan.

Or upset?

You would think that the Saints starting qb doing well would be a great thing, but this is 2020, and people like to be proven right, so I imagine people will be upset if he doesn’t fail.

Think me odd (and who doesn’t) with this topic, but looking through Twitter it seems like people are going to tune in Sunday at noon in hopes that he fails (and by extension the Saints), where I am not sure how they will react if he comes out and puts up a great game.
No one is going to be passed off of he does great and we win. Everyone is making this a Taysom vs jameis thing when its not. What people who are riding Taysoms jock fail to understand is people aren't bad mouthing him but are looking long term. Everyone keeps talking about how drew has lost the deep ball, etc... the last few years, well he is 41 and Taysom is 31. So according to fans, drew started declining about 38 or 39, so Taysom if he has Drew's work ethic would be a stop gap short term quarterback. And that is not taking into account that it took drew 4 years in San Diego and then teaming up with Payton to get to what he is

A second question is will he get the same pass as Teddy got if he gets off to a slow start. While he was not credited with the loss when he took over for the final 3 quarters it is a fact that he played poorly and we lost as a result.

Taysom is 30 or in concrete terms 11 years younger than Drew who we all think is still a great QB. You can win a lot of conference titles, postseason games, and Super Bowls in 11 years.

Where do you fall on the Great New Orleans Saints Venn Diagram? Am I wrong? Or is this an accurate depiction of the forums?

It would be very sad if anyone who says they are a Saints fan hopes Hill falters. Unfortunately, there are probably some that do.

Zoom out and I am outside the Vesica Pisces. Some of us know that there is something supernatural going on. Drew Brees has passed his great secrets to Taysom Hill. It’s the book of knowledge, flower of life, holy grail that will keep our organization golden for many more years. ⚜️🙇🏽‍♂️🙏🏽

This is a very strange question
It is only strange, to those to do not like it, or do not agree with it. Saying it is strange, is cover for one’s negative view. This.is a fan forum. You get a lot of varied questions, views....etc. That is how a forum works. If every question, view, were essentially the same, what would you have?

This is a forum. (IE; open discussion). 😉

I hope he's the best thing to happen to the Saints since Drew Brees.
This... and I hope if this happens then Jameis moves on to another team next year taking what he's learned in his short time in New Orleans and applies it to resurrecting his career with another good team.
