It's really a shame that the Cowboys and the Lions have the contracts to play these annual Thanksgiving Day football games, because none of their games have had much appeal over the last few decades. While I am so glad that our Saints rarely have to play in these games, at least there is something to watch when there is little else that can be done with everything closed down.

So, who do you see taking the early game, Houston or Detroit?

And who do you see taking the late game, Washington or Dallas?

Both Texas teams.

No favorites here, just who I got money on. Hou -3 and Dal -3.

Yet this feels like first Thanksgiving in a while that doesn’t have the Saints vs. the Falcons as the prime-time matchup.

anyway, yeah, the daytime matchups are garbage. I’m going to watch the dog show instead, and wait for the Baltimore/Pittsburgh game (my non-existent money is on the Steelers, btw).

I'm hoping Washington gets the sweep over the Cowboys.
I am with you on that my friend...Any week there is a Cowboy loss is a good one. Overall what a pathetic Division, perhaps will be the worst ever with the Division winner maybe having 5 or 6 wins! Pretty sad and the NFL really has to fix this problem in terms of allowing a team with a losing record host a Wild Card game!

TV won't even be on.
I always root for ABC(Anybody But Cowboys), but WAS winning the division w/Smith as QB is a great story.

The Saints have been forced to play a lot of Thursday night games (which I could live without), but the NFL knows what a big draw the Saints are for any primetime game.
No doubt we'll be seeing our team in primetime games for as long as we keep leading the league in ratings.

I'm pretty sure that they postponed that game because the Raven players can't be responsible.

Yeah, I didn’t even know about that until I turned the Lions/Texans game on some time in the 4th quarter. So I guess there won’t be any decent football on today

I'm not happy about it. I was looking forward to football all day.
