Saints must figure out a way to draft Mac Jones (2 Viewers)

Could be Drew Brees part Deux.

Deadly accurate.

NFL ready.

Great at screen passes, deep ball. Smart, quick decision making.
Nope, nothing special about Jones. He is not Herbert, more like Tribisky

Nope Trubisky part 2. Nothing special about this dude. He's not Herbert or Burrow.

Jones looks like a third-round pick at best to me. He has all day to throw, he has a great running game for balance, and his receivers are often wide open. Were he playing for nearly any other team, we would not be talking about him.

He throws to receivers that are always wide open of course he's accurate. I'll pass.

So I guess a Sean Payton designed offense something to laugh at? Precisely the reason he'd be a good prospect under Coach Payton with his play design and talent around him in Thomas Saunders TQS, Harris, Calloway, Cooks, Hill and Trautman, Mac Jones would be a good fit under center.

I'm not seeing the zip on the ball from him. Maybe I haven't watched him play enough. Of course, most of the times he's only have to make 1, maybe 2 reads because his receivers are just open.

I wouldn't call him a Mitch 2.0, but I'm pretty doubtful he'll have a lot success with his mobility issue in the NFL. He gotta take several leaps if he plans on surviving in an NFL pocket.

Third round pick? Cmon guys. Regardless of the talent around him his ability to throw the football is easily a first round grade.

I have been wrong before. We will see where he is drafted and how he does in the NFL. I just don't see first-round ability. He is not close to Tua. I don't see special arm talent or above-average mobility. We'll see.

Probably not.

Hopefully, most other GMs will think the same way most of the talent-blind posters in this thread does and he will fall right to them.
I’ve admitted I don’t watch college, but anyone who thinks differently than you about a player is talent blind?
Whatever man. 😂

Smith will not fall to us. He is a top 10-15 pick. He might weigh only 175 pounds, and his 40, though good, may not be as fast as some think it will be. But he has been compared to Marvin Harrison, and I think it a good comparison.
