Much more concerned now that Antonio Brown seems to have caught fire, going to be a tough one...
This is the biggest issue I see from the last time we played them to now. They really aren't the same team with AB out there.
I think a third WR option is what they needed to turn the corner, and they absolutely have that now. They have three legit #1 receivers plus Gronk, and Tom Brady throwing it.

We know Lattimore has Evans' number and Jenkins can hold Godwin down. And DD can handle Gronk.

But CJGJ against AB...that's a tough one. The good news is, AB has a strong possibility of being ejected in the first quarter with CJGJ on him.

Also, I didn't want us to take on the Bucs or GB, but honestly...

If our first Superbowl run meant we got to knock off Warner, Favre, and Manning, and our next run means we get to knock off Brady, Rodgers, and Mahomes, then I think that will be about as satisfying as two Superbowl runs could possibly be.

Some say its very difficult to beat a team 3 times in a season, yet I've also seen that it happens about 75% of the time. Of the 21 previous times teams played for a third time the team that won the first 2 has won the third 14 times.

Honestly feel really good. Kind of relieved to be past the first round which is a strange thought because the saints are so good you wouldnt think the first round would be scary but it was for me. I personally have a "house money" feeling now. Love our chances to beat Tompa. I also feel the Rams are going to upset GB . I think we would have to like our chances should we win and that be the case. Lets enjoy the ride

I think because of the early exit last year that we have anxiety with the Saints. I just need the pundits to drum up the rederick that "Oh Saints not beating Tampa 3 times", "Saints have no chance in this one", "Blah blah blah ". Keep the underdog mentality I say.

The NFL put the “right “ officiating crew on this game to make it competitive! This was mentioned in another thread! But the Saints will have more penalties than the Bucs. So I am cautiously optimistic in a Saints win!

After getting off the Playoff schnide how good do you feel about this weekends game?

I feel good about this weekends game even though the Ssints have to beat Tampa a third time. Exercising the Playoff Demons against Chicago will help the Saints enormously

I think the whole beating a team the third time in a season is more of an issue for the winning team if the first two games were close. They were not, so in that case, I believe the psychological advantage swings to our side.

The glass half full fan in me says we got this and but it will be close, the conspiracy theorist in me says the refs fix this game because ole Roger wants Brady vs Rodgers in the NFCCG. I hate that I feel this way but after the No Call and all the bull that came after with no punishment for the refs and that half arsed attempt to make us feel better about it with the PI challenge rule they put in and the refs and New York obliviously screwing that up on purpose has me all kinds of nervous for another screw job from the NFL.

I'm always nervous at this point in the postseason when the Saints are still alive.

I keep thinking about the word Drew used "inevitable"...
Much like in 09', the Saints facing the Vikings felt "inevitable" from about week 6 on. I've had a similar feeling this whole season. I thought we'd end up facing Tom Brady and the Bucs at some point in the postseason. In a way, I'm relieved that it isn't in the NFCCG - because the universe might have imploded.

I think this will be a really tough game. I worry that with no crowd, the "home field advantage" becomes almost non-existent. I worry about a fast-track and Brady's receivers if we can't generate pressure. I worry about Drew's ability to get the ball down field and not throw risky passes. I worry about Jared Cook's inability to stay focused for an entire game. I worry about Marcus Williams inability to stay focused play to play. I worry about the refs calling an uneven game.

I'm excited to still have Saints football to watch while 24 other teams are planning off-season moves - but if I had to rate my feelings -- I'm nervous and concerned but I think we can win this one if we let our talent do it's thing.

LA worries me more, TBH. Even with Goff playing thru a broken thumb, their defense is legit. They can rush from the interior (our protection weakness). Even if our D plays well against them, they are exactly the type of team that could force 2-3 turnovers and beat us 17-14 or 20-17 or something like that. Plus, we'd all be subjected to a week's worth of replays of the no-call. And losing to the Rams again would infuriate me way more than losing to any other team in the playoffs.

SEA/TB would be about the same level of worry for me. TB has more weapons, but Wilson can singlehandedly affect a game in a way Brady at his age cannot do on his own (if the Bucs' WR room had a COVID outbreak, it's not like Brady could scramble and improvise his way to a win at his age).

I agree with this to a certain extent. I would be nervous but way more optimistic about our chances if we were playing Seattle or LA

That's 2/3, or 66%, but yea.

If I answer honestly, I’m anxious. I’m nervous that Tom Brady will win and talk post game that “yeah they got us in the regular season, but the playoffs are where it matters”

which would be true.
