As a lifelong Buc fan, I just wanted to congratulate The Saints and their fans for a great season and division title! As for all the predictions that The Bucs will win that's just crazy! The Saints are the Champs and deserve nothing but respect until we knock them off. Don't get it twisted, I don't like The Saints, but I respect them as a team. I will only offer the Saints fans this. The Bucs are NOT the same team you played before. They have gotten better as the season has progressed and they are coming with a lot of confidence. Whether they are ready to beat the Saints remains to be seen, but they WILL continue to improve over the next year. But for now, all respect goes to the Saints!

Thanks for the kind words.

A lot of us have watched the Bucs closely and noticed the improvements. I also think it’s safe to say that second game was a one-off, given how much zone you guys played and Marpet being out, Brown being new, etc.

I still hope we take a 100-0 lead in the first quarter and never look back, so I can’t say “here’s hoping for a good game” or anything like that. But I wish you good health and a happy life in everything except your pro football rooting interests, lol.

I respect your opinion, I really do, but I’m so tired of the whole “bUcS aReNt tHe sAmE tEaM” narrative. They weren’t ready week one, they weren’t ready week 9, & now we expect them to be ready week 19? I’m just not buying it. If the Bucs manage to win, it’s not because they weren’t the same team we played before, it’s because the Saints played poorly and the Bucs played well.

Ok so they WILL continue to improve over the next year with plenty of rest after Sunday.

I'm definitely not taking the Bucs lightly considering how our past few post-seasons have gone. If our D-Line fails to get any pressure on Brady, it could be a long night for us. I will feel a lot more confident if Trey Hendrickson is healthy enough to play for us. Thanks for posting.

What I think is so funny is that no one is talking about the Bucs QB situation after Tommy Terrific finally does retire.

Wonder what people would be saying or if there would be such a narrative about the Saints being a different team, if they had been beaten soundly twice going into a third game against the same opponent? No probably not cause it would be viewed as silly.

That kind of narrative ignores the fact that the Saints to have improved since week 9. Teams dont operate in a vacuum where it is not possible for their opponents to improve also.
