I think it will be Taysom Hill.

We can't afford a top free agent and the 32nd pick will find slim pickn's in the QB department.

If the cap was not an issue it would be someone else. But, the cap is an issue.

We do not need a top ten QB to be a top ten Team. Half the NFL teams have QB's that truly suck. Taysom may never be a GOAT but he does not suck either.

He says Taysom, but I don't believe it. From what I've seen I don't see him as being good enough as a passer. Sure he can develop a little, but a guy that can't even get 5 yard passes to the best RB in football doesn't have me hopeful. It's nuts how much Kamara's production dropped with Taysom. One would think he would look for him. Against the Bears he had Harris wide open but kept clutching. He just isn't it. Sorry.

It would be foolish to pay our weapons and have subpar QB play and still not be competitive.

Whichver QB Saints manage to convince to sign to an open competition, and the eventual winner will be the starting QB. All the QBs who sign will 100% believe Sean Payton when he says, it will be open competition.

My money is on Jamies Winston as the primary QB with another QB as his backup. Taysom Hill will either go back to his joker role, or he might ask for his release to try his hand at QB elsewhere. Although, I think Taysom won't win the open competition with another QB. He holds the ball too much, it would be difficult for him to forget this habit. Let us see, and time will tell.

A decent veteran QB who wants weapons around him on offense, a solid D, will take a lower salary to try and win a Super Bowl.

Wouldn’t surprise me if we went after Phillip Rivers or Matt Ryan.
