Worst Episode of Friends Ever (1 Viewer)

The one where Rachel and Ross do whatever it is that they do that they call a relationship.

I did not watch the show after season 1 (though I should), but if they have one of those flashback episodes in which the entire show is based on old clips/memories, then it is that episode.

the episode with Billy Joel, Tom Cruise and Bruce Willis was awful

I have no doubt that you enjoyed The One with Brad Pitt, if you were able to pry yourself away from Fight Club playing on a constant loop in your home.

pffft...Meatloaf is who makes Fight Club work....and i don't think he's ever been on Friends

I can't stand the cadence of that show. It's so repetitive. I don't actually watch it but my wife will and has and it's so annoying from afar. And Ross has to be the worst character of all time.

I think it's one of those shows that captured the mood of a particular time in our pop culture but doesn't work outside of that time. I mean, it was never a particularly good show, but when it was on live, it captured a lot of what was going on in the world of young white people. It's just not relevant at all to the world we live in now. It also helped that NBC had owned Thursday nights for a long time and the show came on before Seinfeld.

I haven’t watched it in quite a while so I’m not sure if/how well it holds up.. i have a feeling that it would seem somewhat dated , but i also think it’s probably still decent becuase the writing on that show was EXCEPTIONAL... Sure, the actors got a lot of publicity for getting $1 million per ep or whatever, and the actors were indeed perfectly cast- but the writing (with the exception of the stupid Chandler/Monica rstoryline IMO) was top notch throughout the entirety of that series... of course, i was at the age where i, like everyone else that age on the planet, had a group of friends that could ‘relate’ (except we didnt have the enormous NYC apartment without seemingly having jobs to pay the rent).. if you were not in that demographic at the time, then i guess i could see how you’d have the misguided view that it wasnt a good show.
