Friend of mine is saying he has followed Brees's career and he struggles 'mightily' in cold weather. I gave him stats over the past 9 seasons but that was only 1 game against the Bengals. Does anyone know of a site that shows ALL of Drew's stats as a Saint when the weather was below 40 degrees? Not win/loss...but his actual stats.

Brees played for Purdue (Indiana), and played a bunch of cold weather opponents in the Big Ten: Minnesota, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Illinois, Northwestern, Wisconsin... need I mention more?

His stats at Purdue garnered his being a draft selectee in the NFL (first pick in the 2nd round).

Our last playoff cold weather game on the road was vs. Philly. We won!

First things first... Beat the Bucs! 🤔

:gosaints:

if we win tomorrow I'll look through the games and put the data together

I’m more worried about the Saints beating the Bucs at home than the Packers in Lambeau. The Saints are built to win on the road right now and GB beat the Saints earlier this year. I believe we beat them in Lambeau if we get the opportunity for the rematch. I also believe that the Packers beat the Bucs if they happen to make it to Lambeau next week. It’s the opposite for the Bucs as they beat GB earlier this year and that gives GB the edge from an emotional stand point.

I think your friend is correct. I don’t remember any cold games that were very good. However, this team is not those teams. We can run the ball. And we can stop the run. I’m not saying it would be easy but we are better suited for it.

Drew was 44-17 all-time in games played below 40 degrees, and was 39-6 during his first 45 starts at those temperatures.

this was stats from towards the end of 2019
That's so much better than his overall record.

Yet the intellectually lazy narrative by the pundits is the exact opposite.

So you have the site where you got these numbers from?

Here's an article written the week leading up to our demolition of Buffalo in 2017.

The arthur notes that we were 7-8 since Brees became a Saint in cold weather games. One of those games was Brunell starting to end the 2009 season. So 7-7 for Brees. Piece that together with the tweet above that states we are 4-0 since 2017 in such games, and that gives you an 11-7 record.

An 11-7 record on the road in general independent of conditions would be considered excellent.

So once again, the lazy intellectual narrative is totally debunked.
