Marv Levy gave a famous quote that encourage him after Super Bowl failure: “Fight on, my men, A little I’m hurt but not yet slain. I’ll just lie down and bleed a while and then I’ll rise and fight again”

That’s the Saints. Year after year, down and bleeding but will rise and fight again. 12 win season, another division title and a playoff victory. Bucs was the better team that day and won. Now it’s on to building the team for another run at it. I’m confident in this organization and coaching staff.

Even if Saints would have beaten the Bucs, NO WAY this team would have beaten the Packers. Drew Brees pass his prime. Watching Brees was like Watching Ali or Roy Jones trying to box pass their prime. It was painful to see but obvious to all if we are honest. Something talk about at the beginning of season. No shame in that. Father Time catches everyone.

Yeah watching Drew was like watching an old, beat up boxer. Drew looked every bit of his 42 years and those busted ribs didn't help the situation any.

In sports if you hang around long enough eventually Father Time is going sneak into the ring with a steel chair and smash you in the back while the ref isn't looking.

We've had to rise and fight again for the last four seasons. Getting tiresome. Just want to win again... win again... win again.

That’s sports and being a fan. You can’t win every game and Championship. Only thing you do is cheer as a fan and hopefully your team entertain and win enough games to put you in spot to win it all.

It pi**es me off that Brady seems to be the exception, when it comes to Father Time!!

This mantra has become the "Just wait till next year!" for Saints fans

Are you joking? Were you watching the game? Brady didn't throw a single long pass that was completed, and threw three or four passes that should have been interceptions had our DBs held on to the ball. He played pretty badly, but lucked out on his worst throws.
And all that when we didn't even get good pressure on him this game. Father Time has definitely taken his toll on him. The Packers will swallow him alive.

Ill take this over the to 96-99 years. I know there have been worse, i just wasnt around to experience them. The first 16 seasons of watching the Saints they only made the playoffs 4 times. 3 of those were in the early 90s.

I remember just hoping N.O would make the playoffs. Then number 9 and Payton changed everything. It was quite a ride. Here's to the next chapter, may it be prosperous for us fans.

There’s 32 teams and only one team wins it all each season...you either ride out the bad times and enjoy the experience, hoping for that championship or you walk away from being a fan.

If we apply the law of averages rhetoric we'll be waiting til 2041 for our next SB.
