Not that four turnovers would have made the outcome any different, but where was the pass rush Brady had to face in the first two games? If the turnovers would have led to field goals instead of touchdowns, well you get the idea....

Defense played like a top 5 defense on Sunday.

Offense played like a bottom 5 offense in the playoffs again.
You act like Tampa’s de isn’t good. Best against the run and have young up and comers in secondary. De will be great for a while

I didn’t say they weren’t good. I wouldn’t say “great.” They’re beatable on the back end, but our offense isn’t built to attack them there.

But our offense played poorly in addition. Again.

The pass rush wasn't the best, but it also wasn't terrible. Brady was getting the ball out super quick, and I saw players get close to getting to him. There were a couple times he had quite a while. Overall, not the reason we lost, but it wasn't enough to compensate for the offensive shortcomings.

Bruh Kamara was averaging almost 6 yards a carry at one point...we were doing great running the ball and in typical Drew/Sean fashion, we threw the game away. Literally.

Same story, different team. So aggravating, I’ll never understand why Payton goes away from the hot hand. Prime example: Kamara should own the record of most TDs in a game with 7, but no. He took him out for a Taysom TD.

pass rush...As usual certain players on D,,,,cough,,, Jordan ....cough..disappeared some others too
I suppose Jordan did have a "down year" but 7.5 sacks is pretty good for a down year. And he's had them before, 7.5 sacks in 2016 and 2014 and 8 sacks in 2012. As far as tackles go his stats in 2020 are almost identical to the previous two years. So I don't think anyone can be upset with Cam, he did his job and I'm sure he'll be back with double digit sacks next season.

I can’t help but wonder if his back issue lingered into the season. Not 100% sure what procedure he had done in the offseason, but for a bigger guy who’s not the youngest anymore, it would make sense that played at least a part in it. He just had a 15 sack season last year, so I’m not sure he just became “done” all of a sudden like some have implied.

Reg. season stats are one thing; he routinely disappears in the playoffs. Only big play from him I can think of in the playoffs is the sack to end the game vs Carolina in 2017.

The historic Baltimore Ravens 2000 Defense did not win a single game all season when their offense turned the ball over more times than the opposing team. In fact, in 2 of their 4 losses during the season they were even and +1 on the game turnover margin.
