Bucs fans raising money to put up “We Dat” billboard in New Orleans (1 Viewer)

In life as in football, if you don’t want someone to run up the score on you, stop them.

If these folks want to put money into a local businesses pockets then good on them.
Well, don't be too surprised if some NCAAF or NFL team that does like to run up scores of opposing teams' defenses who's teams aren't as talented or have the depth they do comparatively, if perhaps maybe late in the 4th quarter one of the MLB's, DE's, a hard-hitting safety "accidentally" rolls over on top of one of the winning team's All-Pro QB, WR, or _______ integral, high-impact offensive playmaker.

Or maybe a few games later in the season, another team who maybe matches up better decides to send a nice, little hard nasty hit to their team's QB while scrambling outside the pocket on a broken play, he gets his collarbone on his throwing arm torn, ala Aaron Rodgers being knocked out of a 2017 game by a Vikings LB that ends his season, to remind him he won't be pulling his GOAT, showboating shtick on them or anyone else that year.

We earned this embarrassment.

Nothing else need to be said. We were foolish and stupid.

We have run up the score on plenty of teams, it’s no secret that Sean is petty, so why would I be upset if someone returned the favor?

You don’t want someone flexing on you (Tyreke Hill/Antoine Winfield Jr) then don’t start anything.

Well,.two wrongs don't make a right but if Sean has an earned reputation for running up scores in games in the past or in the future, he likely in this particular situation just has to accept the embarrassment.

My previous comments were made on a more generalized perspective that if some very good, talented NCAAF or NFL teams develop this habit of wanting to be disrespectful and run up the score once the game is clearly lopsided by mid-late 3rd quarter, well, don't be surprised if there's some other team that decides to make an example out of this same team by "accidentally" having one of their 300-pound DTs roll over most of his weight on this same team's star Pro-Bowl RB after a routine 4-5 yard run up the middle of a team's interior run defense or maybe some hard-hitting LOLB or WSLB sees this game team's 5-6 time Pro Bowl QB scrambling out of the pocket and decides to land some borderline hard,.vicious hit that tears the QB's throwing shoulder collarbone that some might label dirty but others will say it was just a clean, hard hit.

Even, when it really wasn't meant to be.

STILL, with that being said, this is just a case of Tampa gloating about them achieving something important that they set out to do. That it doesn't matter if we swept them in the regular-season and in one particular case, embarrassed them badly,.38-3, on a nationally televised SNF game, what's prescient is that they beat us in the most important, crucial game of the season where its "win or go home".

They won that game, and continued on to beat Green Bay in the NFCCG, and now, Kansas City in the Super Bowl. So, they deserve to celebrate and maybe gloat a bit.

Tampa made us look bad while beating us because we made ourselves look bad.

Let them have their fun. Once the Brady show is over they'll go back to being push-overs. I can't remember if I ever marked my calendar pertaining to the Bucs.

The petty is strong with them lol. It’s kind of amazing that we are the most hated team by all 3 NFC South teams :yelrotflmao:

Beyond dumb. You just won the Superbowl and you're more interested in trolling a division rival whose fans quite frankly don't care about your franchise. Maybe if this was Atlanta it would make sense.

Why in New Orleans? Don't they have a rival? The Falcons are our rival.

I feel like this Tampa Super Bowl win will ultimately be like Philly’s win in ‘18. The Eagles won, but it still doesn’t feel like they are regarded as champions.

At best, Tom will give them around two more seasons. While there, the will be media relevant and in contention. The moment Brady leaves Tampa will go back into the cellar.

I trust SP’s coaching and ability to keep us viable for the next 4 or more years over Tampa Bay having staying power after Brady.
