A South Dakota judge ruled Monday that a voter-approved constitutional amendment that would have legalized marijuana for recreational use was in itself unconstitutional, setting up a legal fight that pits Gov. Kristi Noem (R) against her own constituents.

Circuit Court Judge Christina Klinger, a Noem appointee in Pierre, ruled that Amendment A violated a rule that ballot measures cover only a single subject

Figured I'd go ahead and post a poll and see how you guys and gals feel about cannabis. I myself haven't smoked it too much, but before I enlisted I partook maybe 5-10 times. I personally didn't enjoy the high too much, but the pain relief was amazing.

I've been on a few big pain killers throughout my day for issues related to service. They all make me feel too high, numb, and are very addictive. Marijuana has been a pain reliever that I've recently enjoyed. It has made me feel better than the pills. Those "legal" pills are addictive as ****, and have led to more problems than I'd like. After a long days work I personally would prefer smoking and going to sleep than drinking and taking these pain pills.

Anywho, what are your thoughts on marijuana? Should it be legal, medically only, or stay illegal?

I'm with you. I had a workplace accident that left me with broken bones in my back and intractable pain. I tried the opioids at first and they definitely make you feel great. When they are gone, however, is when the real pain starts. I've never experienced withdrawals to this degree. A friend introduced me to cannabis and it completely changed my life for the better. Sure, it won't cure my ailments, but life is much better for me with cannabis. I also served, so I didn't exactly grow up blazing trees. I have my medicinal tincture which is wonderful, but is insanely expensive. That being said, I partake pretty much daily and I would 100% prefer cannabis over opiates. Unfortunately, there is tons of red tape keeping us from enjoying it legally as we would like to.

Not surprising in the least. Law enforcement not wanting it because it cuts an easy source of revenue and boogeyman. Of course this is also interesting as she is a foaming at the mouth believer of personal rights and freedom with Covid -19 but an authoritarian in just about every other way. She really is a piece of work

Interesting book review. I might have to give this one a read.

"...the evidence tells us that we must look beyond the drug itself when trying to help people with drug addiction. In fact, regarding the relatively small percentage of individuals who do become addicted, co-occurring psychiatric disorders — such as excessive anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia — and socioeconomic factors — such as resource-deprived communities and un- and underemployment — account for a substantial proportion of these addictions."

"What about the notion that drugs led to poverty and crime in my neighborhood?" he asks. "Well, that is simply an ugly fantasy, an incredibly effective one to be sure. It's effective not only because it is still believed by large segments of the American public but also because it seemingly provides a simple solution to complicated problems faced by poor and desperate people. Many other complex factors are responsible for the turmoil seen in the places of my youth and other communities. But it took me a long time to see that clearly myself."

Can't find any reviews in the Pancake Ice yet on Leafly. There's no way I could smoke a 33% Sativa all day. I'm more of an Indica guy.

But they had a referral haha:

We couldn’t find this strain within 150 miles of your location.
But, we used science to find these strains with similar effects. Yeah, science!

D.C.'s Initiative 81, which passed with 76% of the vote in November, officially goes into effect on Monday, March 15.

Initiative 81, formally known as the Entheogenic Plant and Fungus Policy Act of 2020, does not make it legal to use mushrooms or other psychedelics, but it makes policing and prosecution of them a low priority.

The battle to get Initiative 81 on D.C. ballots was spearheaded by spokesperson Melissa Lavasani, who said she knows firsthand how much of a difference access to these mushrooms can make. She suffered with depression after both of her pregnancies. After she had her son in 2017, she said she tried every home remedy, and nothing worked.......

Magic mushrooms officially decriminalized in DC (msn.com)

It’s so nice going into a store and being able to buy joints, weed, and edibles in Ontario. The one next to me is sandwiched between an American style diner and a Taco Bell.
My goal is a gumbo/Jambalaya truck outside of a shop in Co

Although, my bosses idea of a bundt cake shop called Nothing Blundt Cakes next door might be better.

We tried to get into the Nothing Bundt Cakes around 5 years ago and there were no franchises to be had in Oklahoma. I do like the Blunt cakes take.

I can tell you my friend that owns one down around Dallas does about $2 million annually.

Crazy I know but people love those things.
