Every store has some things that are cheaper and some that are more expensive. But mostly only by a couple bucks or so. I find Martin's to be the most expensive of the 3 places you listed, but their selection is pretty good. Total Wine is very expansive and a little overwhelming at first. Also, their rare bottles sell out much quicker or so it seems. I generally prefer going to Dorignac's or Rouses when I'm looking for something first, and then I'll hit the specialty stores after.

I too have always found Martin a bit high on prices. I basically buy all liquor and beer from Dorignac's since I do groceries there every weekend. If I'm being honest, about 90% of the reason I buy groceries from Dorignac's is their liquor prices. Edit: And selection.

Yeah, they generally have good prices. Although sometimes specific things will be too high. But, it's random and they usually have good sales. Their selection is really good for a grocery store too. They don't tend to have the really rare stuff but they have a lot of stuff you don't see most places. For instance, they carry whiskey from a Texas distillery called Balcones. I've only seen their stuff one other place (Acquistapace Liquor and Wine in Mandeville). They are doing some interesting stuff.

i miss the fun arcade

And they have samples.

They used to have samples. Thanks to COVID, they no longer give out samples of liquor at Dorignac's. There used to be an old guy giving out samples of whiskey and an old lady giving out samples of vodka, gin, etc. every weekend.

Although, I think they are starting to do it again. But, all I have seen so far is like flavored vodka. Blech. They really need to bring back the whiskey samples and Make Dorignac's Great Again.

Doesn't alcohol kill germs?

When I was there 2 weeks ago, they were sampling coffee-flavored Jameson (which was gross) and some sort of satsuma rum (which wasn't too bad).

I'm going camping in March and I think this is the bottle I'm going to bring with me.
i haven't been camping since 1995 (15 years old). my friends, and i, would go just to drink the beer (vb aka victoria bitter 4 lyfe) and tequila we way overpaid for someone to buy it for us. well, until i received my learner's permit. at the time in vic, australia, they issued paper permits via typewriter. a little scratchy scratch here and there, voila! i was instantly 18, yet looked like i was 12.
