Sorry, I do not speak in underlying terms. Be a man and say what you really want to say. If you do not like any part of what I posted. perfectly understood. But to be a smart@ss about it, that is different.I'm somewhat convinced that Super44's first language is not English (NTTAWWT). Or, he/she is a long lost descendant of Yoda...

But see, I remember Skate Country being in Elmwood, just off Clearview, near where the Palace Theaters are/were.. at least it was for many years in the 1980s when i had birthday parties there.. i dont understand yall talking about it being on Airline, or it having been there forever(?)
I'm pretty sure it was a Skate Country in Elmwood. I have this memory of it having giant yellow backlit letters on the side of the building.IIRC, it wasn't Skate Country, but a rival business. Skate Country was always on Airline before it changed its name and there was another in the East around Lake Forest.
I think the people that owned the one in Elmwood also owned the bowling alley that was on Jefferson for a while.
I remember it on Jeff Hwy and Causeway (inside the off ramp loop)

Just did a quick google search to confirm, and there is a FB group about it:

I seem to remember that there was supposed to be one on the westbank as well i believe, though i never ventured there.
Miss him as a Saints reporter but Vargas is a pit bull with a storyVictims and the shooter have been identified...
New Orleans man, 27, at center of Jefferson Gun Outlet shootout that left him, 2 others dead: sources
A 27-year-old New Orleans man sparked the gun battle that left him and two others dead inside of Jefferson Gun Outlet in Metairie on Saturday afternoon, according to law enforcementwww.nola.com
Thatās incredibly sadIt kind of sounds like the actor in this story may have had the intent of suicide by gun range folk.
I was talking to my neighbor about gun ranges just yesterday. He said he doesn't like going to them because you just don't know who is next to you and they they will intentionally or unintentionally do. The one closest to us has had a 3 suicides in the last 10 years. Not suicide by provoking others, just people going there to shoot themselves. Still, someone shooting themselves could also injure others and at least leaves psychological damage.
