Punky Brewster Reboot (1 Viewer)

Have you seen Blossom lately?
That's my point. Punky, and it's not even close.

I have to admit, though, I did watch Punky Brewster and its cartoon spin-off when I was a kid. I had a crush on Soleil Moon Frye back then(we're the same age), and whenever I see her in something current, I still kinda do.

Unfortunately, after watching that trailer, this relaunch(or whatever you call it) looks incredibly awful.

What's the girl from Small Wonder look like these days?

All I remember was the fridge episode, the episode where the Challenger exploded, and the cartoon where magic creatures were a thing. And I never understood why all the magic and sheet was never in the live action show as a kid, and it made me angry.

If they bring the magic creature to the reboot I'll check it out

Take a cue from Wandavision and have it be about her having a mental decline. The magic creature shows back up and starts talking to her about their old adventures, but she says that never happened. Everyone around her increasingly becomes worried about her sanity. She doesn't know what's real or fantasy anymore. And then the creature starts telling her if she wants to experience the magic again, she must begin harvesting souls.

I would sign up for Peacock for this show, and only this show.

I remembered the magic creature was named Glomer. What I didn't know was that, according to IMDB, the character was voiced by Frank Welker. I had always assumed it was Dave Coulier.

Just assume every nonhuman creature in an 80's cartoon was voiced by Frank Welker, and you'll only be wrong about 8% of the time.

Also, Freddie Prinze Jr.'s Mass Effect 3 royalties must have dried up.
