Tiger Woods involved in car accident, in surgery with 'multiple leg injuries' (1 Viewer)

Yeah, husband is a huge Jack fan. We already had this conversation sadly. But I hate comparing them. Two totally different eras.

definitely. But the dominance was similar. It was Jack then everything me else and for at least ten years it was Tiger and everyone else. Golf is far better IMO when you have the rather large rivalries. Tiger/Phil and Jack went through phases with several guys. I don’t see any of that right now. So I really only tune in for majors and mostly just Augusta and the British.

While it did seem that the county Sherrif made a statement after receiving a generous PBA donation, I really don’t see the point in pursuing this
Had there been property damage, sure, charges would help prove responsibility
But the consequences Tiger is facing now must far outweigh any penalty they can’t meet out, no?

It sounds like it is standard procedure in a vehicle accident investigation. I think they should do whatever they always do.

Just tag him with a reckless driving charge and move on. I was involved in a single car wreck that didn't hit anyone or destroy anything other than my car, and I got a reckless driving ticket. I think that would fit here.

I'm really not one to get on and spread 3rd party heresay but I'll make an exception here.
On a medical practice management message board that I visit, there was some consternation about a physician who opined to a local news outlet about the severity of Tiger's injuries. Well, many on the site, rightly so btw, berated the guy for making such a statement without being involved in Tiger's care in any form or fashion.
Well, one of the guys doing the berating happens to be partners with a very good friend of one of the surgeons at UCLA who was actually involved. He stated if the patient hadn't been named Tiger Woods, that there was a very very high probability that any other patient would have ended up with a B/K amp. The destruction to the lower leg is very extensive and it will be a while before he is out of the woods (NO PUN intended).

B/K amp?????

I take it that's not audiophile-speak...

Below knee amputation.

I'm no doctor, but I did stay at...well you know the rest. :hihi:

Actually had a friend who was working a rig offshore and one of the high pressure pipes burst. Shredded his leg just below the knee. Basically turned his knee into a stump. Crazy.
