The Bengals have the 5th pick and no need for a QB. They could use OL and WR help which I assume they take one if they don’t move. The draft is very deep as WR.

What players or picks do you think we could offer to entice the Bengals to give us that #5?

Armstead? Ramcyck? Peat? Lattimore? One of these and our 1st? Two of these? Two of these and our first?

Do we want the 3rd 4th or 5th rated QB? For example would you be happy if we traded Armstead and our 1st for Trey Lance?

Out of the players you named, trading them just creates another hole. I don't see it happening. The f.o. seems content this year with letting Winston and Taysom battle it out.
Now if someone they loved fell in the lower teens to high 20s, I could see them jumping up in the draft.

Basically you can add up NO draft picks to you get to that value
Future draft picks are worth next years pick. So a 2022 first will be considered a second, 2023 third and so on.
Finally players would be considered what you think draft position would be example if lattimore worth 2nd round pick at 15th position use those points

With Payton calling the shots, I would trust him if he were to make a big trade up for the 5th pick.... but it will cost a lot ... Ram , 2022 1st, and a 3rd somewhere 2021-2023....

Ok............trade up to take who?

Of the players you mentioned the one player you don't offer is Ramcyck.

That would create a HUGE hole in the Oline!!

Bengals want Chase. Burrow wants Chase. If anything, the Bengals will be looking to trade up with someone, if at all.

Unless we were throwing our entire o-line and Thomas in the mix, I doubt we could get into the top 5.

Also remember - the Bengals owner is notorious for balking at trade offers. Remember we offered them the 99’ Ricky Williams blockbuster and they passed before we moved on to the Redskins. As I recall, the offer to the Bengals was actually a larger haul than what we gave the Skins. They held and drafted Akili Smith.

Obviously, any trade up to the top 5 would be for a QB prospect like Trey Lance, Mac Jones or Justin Fields. It would certainly be Ramsyck and future picks. And for Cinncinatti, it would make sense to get an all-pro tackle in his prime. Lord knows they have the cap space.

Would Sean Payton make that move? If he fell in love with one of these QB prospects.....absolutely.

Akili Smith was really good in college. The Bengals just ruin players. Good luck to Chase if he goes there

That would be so dumb of them to take yet another wide receiver and continue to ignore the offensive line. Did Burrow actually say that or is it an assumption since they were teammates?

Burrow's said he wants Chase, and Ja'Marr Chase at #5 is BPA and it's not even remotely close. The Bengals still have plenty of picks left to draft linemen, and giving Burrow a reliable target he can go to will shorten his read and release time and in turn help the offensive line. Look at how different the Saints offensive line was when Brees was in at QB compared to Bridgewater, Winston, and Hill.

Like last year when they spent their 2nd on WR Tee Higgins? Penei Sewell is the only pick for Cincinnati. Maybe you could consider something else if Kyle Pitts were there. But they are good at WR with Boyd, Higgins, Tate.

Gotta go with JaMarr. He is a generational WR talent. He is one of WR talents that fall to a team once every 20 years. Add to the fact him and Burrow have a natural chemistry.

.its like @Breesusaves said there will be other lineman in the draft. The NFL is full of excellent O-linemen but there are very few elite WRs. Chase is one of those

It would take WAY more to move to #5 than I would feel good about. It would hurt the team and our depth with finally having a decent collection of picks. If we did, it would almost feel like the Dikta/Williams draft to me this year...LOL. No one is that good that we NEED or WANT that bad. We wouldn't be "selling the farm" to move up, but would be the barn or stable.

I could see us moving a few spots with a 3rd traded and a LATE pick next year, maybe...but not to #5.
