And it's Chris Rock time - "I'm not saying she should've shot at 'em, but I understand"
================================================================

A drive-thru order turned violent Tuesday when a woman opened fire into a Memphis Burger King, according to Memphis Police.

The Memphis Police Department said it all started when a woman got angry about how long she was waiting for her food.

According to MPD, the woman was in the drive-thru line when she got out of her car, walked up to the window and started arguing with a Burger King employee............

I almost had a rage moment the other day at popeyes on vets past bonnabel. I had to correct the lady 5 times when she kept saying 16-piece when ordering an 8-piece and then kept telling me my total before ordering any side items, that happened 4 times. How can you be this bad at your job? When I got my order, they missed on the mash potatoes, tried to give me an extra box of fries. Needless to say, I held up the line another 10minutes as they corrected the order. After all of that, when I got home and opened the box of chicken, I saw the most pathetic pieces of chicken I've ever received from popyeyes in my life. This was probably top 2 in the worst experiences I ever had going through a drive thru. I'm only going to popeyes for sandwiches in the future, they've continued to go down hill recently, plus they removed way too many side items.

Sounds like standard service for Popeyes to me. I haven't been in one in over 5 years do to bad experiences in all of them in the Monroe area.

Yikes

We went to a Popeyes in Belle Chase after baseball, finally got to the window and heard “all we got is chicken “
Yours has chicken?

We have one here that is. Somehow, always out of chicken before 4pm. We have another that switched to drive through only when covid restrictions began and their lines back up traffic in both directions. Both locations are the slowest, most rude, restaurants in the area but the chicken is worth it. (When they have it)

Popeye's is like your best friend's crazy wife/girlfriend. You wonder why he puts up with her, but you know why he puts up with her.

It doesn't matter how good the food is if the service sucks, I won't be back. When Outback opened in W. Monroe years ago I took my girlfriend at the time. We had to wait awhile for a table but that didn't bother me since I expected it. However, when we got a table and the waiter took our order we had both decided we wanted a medium rare sirloin strip. The waiter sits down and starts to explain what medium rare means like we are a couple of idiots. We got what we asked for and it was good but I haven't been back since.

I doubt that anybody goes to Popeye's for the service.

I was a bar tender there years ago. The description is a requirement. Not sure why but that was one thing we always had to do.

Fries is a piss poor substitute for mashers. Any side from Popeyes vould be missing. When it comes to missing mashers it is downright heartbreak.

Then that policy cost them a customer.
My mom was one that would eat a fresh steak straight out of a fridge. Whenever we could afford to go out to eat (not often) she would tell the waiter/waitress to have them throw it on the grill for as short a time as they can get away with. She was happy if it came out with slightly browned grill marks. If it didn't then the next time we went to that restaurant she would just order a salad bar if they had good shrimp in it.

Yet I'll always be grateful to Outback just for being open after Katrina (the one on Veterans close to the parish line).

My Mom liked her steaks blue. I couldn't do it.
