Again, nothing in the articles state the 3 vaccines now being used is gene therapy. Whoever is claiming that's what they are are either lying, don't know what they're talking about, or most likely both.

Did you actually read the article? I doubt you have...you've only read the title and abstract which does not specify which vaccine actually pertains to the title.

Here's the article and get back to me.

He's a good storyteller, I'll give him that.

First, that article doesn't mean that the vaccines are gene therapy. What it means is that the technology used to create gene therapy, or a similar technology, was also used to create the vaccines. That doesn't mean that the vaccines actually are gene therapy and they aren't.

Second, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine doesn't even use mRNA. It's basically a traditional vaccine, so even if they other two were gene therapy, and they aren't, the J&J vaccine is not based on the mRNA technology. Although I think it does use a similar technology to create the proteins that cause the immunity reaction.

Finally, even if the other two actually were gene therapy, that doesn't make it bad. Gene therapy has saved the lives of literally thousands of cancer patients. The idea of all these weird mutations from gene therapy is science fiction, not science.

I’m not posting this for you, your junk filter is irrecoverably terrible - but for anyone else interested, Dr. Martin’s claims are just wrong. The mRNA vaccine is a vaccine (because it creates an immuno-response), it is actually similar to traditional vaccines in how the process fundamentally works, but it is ground-breaking in how it accomplishes the task by skipping some of the steps traditional vaccines require. And it is most certainly not gene therapy - no human genes are altered or replaced.

Martin is also a Covid denier for the most part. He’s not qualified to speak on vaccines against an illness he does not believe exists.

Yep, if they were gene therapy and it works...I'm fine with that.

But really, for this to actually be some sort of planned event would require a suspension of belief in the idea that millions of people participate in some galactic sized conspiracy.

Got my second dose of Pfizer this past Saturday and just like the first time, I came home, cut grass, washed the cars, etc. I felt great.
Then I died on Easter Sunday. I’m old. :hihi:
I won't put anything more on it , I'm honestly hoping everyone is well , right now my wife and I are on the fence , right now I'm having a hard time trusting the news media and the corruption in our own country . I just wish the whole world could just get back to normal . Paul , if you did pass away , you were in good company .

If you met 30 year old me, you'd meet someone exactly where you are on this. I meant well, but now I know a little better...I think. :hihi:

As for the whole world getting back to normal, I tend to think post-pandemic will be more of a new normal than an old one. Things change, we adjust.

And I understand the apprehension to getting vaccinated. A long time friend skeptical of Covid recently went and got vaccinated. She was scared because she was reading nonsense on a political site I won't name and me and the nurse convinced her. 2 weeks later, she found out her sister who hadn't been vaccinated got covid and is currently fighting for her life. My friend feels like she dodged a bullet and is glad she got the vaccine now.
