Well my favorite golf tourney of the year starts later this morning. Will Spieth follow up last weeks win in San Antonio with his 2nd Masters win? Dustin Johnson repeat? It's a deep field this year and there are many players who can win it. My top five are Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, and Patrick Reed. Who ya got? I'll go with one of my favorites -- Jordan Spieth. He's such a likeable guy. His discussions with his caddy before and after the shot are sometimes quite informative and humorous.

Hello friends
I’ll give you 2 long shots who might be on the leaderboard come Sunday:
Daniel Berger and Jason Day.

Glad to see the Masters back on the first weekend in April. Course is said to be fast and firm, doubt we will see -20 this week. My prediction is -10 wins the tournament.
Enjoy

Agree all around, Rob. Day and Berger have shown steady improvement of late. If the expected rain isn't too drastic, the greens will stay hard and fast. The greens were starting to brown late Wednesday. They will be extremely fast today. Lee Westwood has played some of his best golf of late and should be in the mix as well.

I love the Masters too. Both through watching and playing on PlayStation I feel as though I know the course really well.
I really enjoy the flexibility of being able to watch certain holes too. I agree the course setup will make for tougher scoring.
A lot will come down to how much the wind blows.
I like Rahm and Sergio and So Woo Kim for a long shot.

Good luck all and enjoy.

I was just about to chastise for not discussing this! Rory's my favorite golfer these days but he's not having a good day. I used to like Sergio but I've cooled on him. Other than that, I just don't have many favs so I guess I'm just reverting back to my "Anybody but Tiger" days.

Speaking of Tiger, wonder how his recovery is doing.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tiger doesn't tour again. He's long had back and health issues. This might be the thing that does him in.

That said, I hope he does make a full recovery.

Rory did hit a patron with an errant tee shot. It was his dad.
