Gotta say congrats to Wallace on his first ever stage win. His team has to help him more though. He drove really well, but that call to not pit when everyone else did killed his chances. Once the late caution came out, he had no choice but to pit. His car couldn't keep up with the others who had already pitted and lost his track position on the OT restart.

Good race with a not so great ending - Brad is great at super-speedways but I would have preferred any of those other guys up front. Exciting as always though.

Wow, that could have been life-threatening. Can't remember seeing a wreck with that much fire. Newman's last year caught fire, but the crash injured him more than the fire. This one, Lancaster fighting injuries from the fire. Hope he makes a full recovery.

So it is pretty crazy that the iRacing event a Talledega last Wednesday had the 22 tumbling through the air, and the 2 winning and doing a burnout on the front stretch.

If only the 2 had an American flag in the simulation. But yeah, that's almost creepy. Lol.

Not sure how I feel about this. I'm not a big fan of the road courses as they are run now and the same on city streets just seems pointless.

I like road races. Not every week, but say 4 or 5 during the season would be cool. Idk if a Chicago street road race would work, but something like that in a big city could be unique and fun. F1 has done it frequently in the past, so maybe take some ideas from them.
