Fascinated by this one.

He can do some Taysom Hill type things (not nearly the physical gifts) so maybe he sees the field at other positions.

As with everyone, I hope he works out. But honestly, he’s probably our 3rd string QB at best for the foreseeable future when there were receivers, tight ends, DBs, and interior offensive and defensive linemen available that could’ve made the field this year.

Between Ian Book and Payton Turner, it kind of feels like we’re drafting like we’re coming off a Super Bowl with no real holes, able to draft for 2-3 years in the future. I know it’s not all about drafting for right now, but we have real 2021 issues that need addressing. I’m thinking our UDFA class will be strong.

So many good safety's are on the board and we went with a lesser Taysom. We are just redrafting everyone we missed on the past few years

I never liked him as a college QB.
Not much of a chance to make a difference to our roster.
We will see what he contributes.
Pick in 4th ed. should have been Jamie Newman. There must be a troubling report on Newman.

This will be interesting. I didn’t see this one coming but I hope Payton molds him well
