Davenport is a monster, freak of an athlete. To be so physically and athletically similar is not a bad thing. The problem is, Davenport has been slower to develop, partly due to staying nicked up here and there. If this guy can develop a little quicker, that would be awesome. The door is still not closed on Davenport. I imagine a world where both of these guys live up to their full potential, and become an absolute nightmare for QBs. Here's to hoping. I at least hope one of them turns into a nightmare for QBs.

Davenport is a monster, freak of an athlete. To be so physically and athletically similar is not a bad thing. The problem is, Davenport has been slower to develop, partly due to staying nicked up here and there. If this guy can develop a little quicker, that would be awesome. oh yea I agree 100%. Davenport is a monster when healthy. But you know what they say....the best ability is availability. We’ve had pretty poor luck with guys with extensive injury histories lately

This could be a lethal pass rush if Davenport can put it together. Big if but I'm rooting for both of them. I wouldn't go as far as to say a 1st rounder is a hidden gem though.

I beg to differ. A 1st round draft pick doesn't mean much. A hidden gem is characterized as something that could be outstanding, which people may not know about; cause when he got drafted alot of people on here were like "who us this freaking guy ", because they didn't know who he was or watch his tape. He wasn't the so called "sexy pick". Could turn out to be great. Will see

Shoot two big time aggressive rushers look out. Not to mention there is Granderson and if Cam can regainb a bit of his form this could be one of the most aggressive and intimidating D-lines in the league.

As if thats not enough quarterbacks when they try to get that ball out quickly to avoid pressure or a sack have to be careful with the Saints secondary. A slight mistake a ball will be batted down or intercepted

I'm just surprised after what we have had to endure with Davenport not coming through or being able to even get on the field at times, that we would put a first round pick on the exact same kind of player. Hoping it turns out well. Again.

I hope Turner turns out a HELL of a lot better than Davenport. Yall do realize that we let Hendrickson walk and he had 13.5 sacks, Cam had 7.5 and the waste of a pick Davenport had 1.5?? If Turner is equal together they'll get to 3 sacks... awesome. Seriously, I'm pulling for him but he better be much better than Davenport to justify the pick.
