The official 2021 saints undrafted free agent class thread (1 Viewer)

Scott reminds me a lot of Latavius Murray but with a bit quicker feet. I love his feet. He is always pushing forward and falls forward. I think he is not as strong as Murray, but plays stronger than you would think. Murray has a faster open field, but not as quick of feet. Scott has soft hands, as well. I like this pick up.

Why do folks keep saying this? It is patently incorrect....If Scott had anywhere near LM's measureables he would have been drafted as high as Day 2....

LM's cone/shuttle is far superior, they compare to Adrian Peterson's. This kid could possibly make the team but it will be an uphill climb as we are stacked at the RB position....in no way is this guy comparable to LM athletically, likely why he was available as a UDFA....

Do we want this in our locker room ?
We normally do not touch this kind of character.
Must see something in him that makes them willing to give him a chance. Draftable talent...could be a steal if he can get his head right.

Looks like he's stayed clean the last couple years? Low risk/high reward.

Wow. I had no idea. Just did some research on him.

Some names on that list... his top UDFA WR and EDGE remain unsigned...

Warren G’s son (DB from USC) remains unsigned... REGULATORS!... Mount up.
Marlon Williams, the UCF is a Mobile kid that played at McGill-Toolen Catholic.

His first year at UCF he played with Tre’Quan Smith.

At his pro day - RB Stevie Scott ran a 4.66 forty and the short shuttle of 4.57 (source - Hoosiers Now, official pro day results) And everyone knows that your pro day is where you see the fastest of your forty times. So he's the type of RB that would likely have run between 4.70 to 4.73 if at the Indy combine.

In comparison, at Latavius Murray's pro day, he clocked a 4.38 forty time and 4.36 short shuttle (source Wikipedia)

So before the "camp beast" proclamations begin... just a little dose of reality.
Speed isn't everything. He runs with power and determination. He falls forward
