There has been a growing sentiment that Kwon could just be in the way when it comes to the development of the young linebackers that we have. Any thoughts?

Kwon is 27. Isn’t that young. Def always hurt but all our lbs usually ate so bring him in to compete. Half of you guys don’t like werner anyways lol

No bc they would gain something by watching and learning from him. With that being said, if one of the young bucks are as good as advertised **cough** Werner **cough**, then he will ball out whether it’s this year, next year, or whenever his time comes. I don’t see what everyone else does, but whatever

We could jus make Kwon a nickel LB.

So in base (4-3) we could have Pete, DD n Baun.

When we go “nickel” ( 4-2-5) Pete n Baun come out, n the nickel CB (Chauncey) n Kwon come in.

I think dime is typically a 4-1-6. So DD would n the lone LB with 6 DBs. But you could put together some fun, different packages too, like a 3-2-6. Only 3 D linemen, Kwon n DD at LB, n 6 DBs. You can bring a 4th rusher, but the question for the opposing O is who will it b n where are they coming from!

Or maybe a 3-3-5? 3 linemen, 5 DBs, and DD, Kwon n how bout Zack Baun as the 3rd backer? Yes, I do like Werner, n think he’s the better “pure”LB of the 2. Jus my opinion now, but I watched Bauns college vids, n I think he has some nice “twitch” comin off the line! He’s a pretty polished pass rusher too! So advantage to Baun over Werner in this area.

The way I see it, havn Kwon can only help the team. But Werner n Baun are good players, n both will get their feet wet a lot this year!

if we had a team that wasn't going to compete for a title, Division or Super Bowl, then I would rather just go with the young guys. Get them out there and bloodied. But we have a real good team so I would rather have Kwon come in. I just can't believe that he is healed up enough already.

If he's better than them then he should be playing.

I don’t see how. If anything it should bring out the best in the younger guys competing for the playing time
