Supposedly, Feige is dismissing the events of the Netflix series, but if he is going to glean the best parts into the MCU, I'm fine with it.
He's already brought Charlie Cox for the new Spiderman film. Now by brining D'Onofrio's Kingpin, he just needs to add John Bernthal's Punisher for my money and he's brought all the best parts into the mainstream.

Yeah, this really is a no-brainer. But...the only issue I can see is The Punisher is far and away the most violent franchise in the Netflix Marvel series. Not sure if Disney would bring him into the fold for that reason. I mean, it would have to be an R/MA rated series imo. So, maybe a Deadpool type movie series rather than TV/Disney+ series? Idk.

And fwiw, I think the casting for most of the Defenders shows and Punisher were pretty great across the board. Even IF in spite of it being the worst of the bunch.

The Iron Fist lead was terrible, but Colleen Wing was awesome.

I don't think the actor was bad. He suffered from terrible writing.

Since you mention Colleen, they might as well bring Misty Knight along as well.

Yeah, there probably are better actors for the lead role, but I agree he suffered from the poor writing and just an overall drop-off from the other series. The concept and cast were good enough but poorly written and executed.

I still actually liked a lot of the show though. I've watched every Netflix Marvel series multiple times, even IF, lol.

I thought he improved the further you get into the show. There was some "what the heck" moments, but I didn't really notice that many. I didn't care for the writing though. Some of the major plot lines made little sense, and sometimes they just made Danny look utterly stupid for really no good reason.

My local LCS was sold out of the new book yesterday. I ordered one. I have the first issue of the other two volumes so I might as well get this one.

If they pull Lemire's Mr. Knight character I will be very disappointed. I was not crazy about that rendition of the character.

Could be. But idk how enthusiastic they would be about splitting off part of the MCU shows to Hulu. Curious to see if that happens.

Do you think that they are going to put the rated R Deadpool 3 on Disney plus or Hulu? Hulu makes more sense since Disney is such a family oriented place, I doubt they would put a hardcore violent movie on their service.
