I’m just going off what Payton suggested, and that’s having Hill remain in his role. I mean he was slightly out played by Trevor in the preseason. I think the way this team is built which is defense first, Trevor and his game manager style would be the better fit for a few games. You don't think he would start the next game?
There were several times over the course of the past few seasons where it felt like Sean was shoehorning Taysom into the game at QB when we might have been better served to ride with Brees and get a groove going.Maybe it changes over the course of the season, and Payton keeps experimenting, but I doubt he gets many snaps at QB, other than goal line situations and the occasional trick play. Really, I just think it's counterproductive to swap QBs, when there's not as much of an advantage anymore. I think he could be working on adding some weight back and playing mostly at receiver, TE, and ST. It's something to keep an eye on.
No need for name calling.Buy Taysom can still be a really effective tool
I think the score and way the game was going dictated his lack of play more than anything else. No reason to expose to your next opponents any new designs you have. Just run a couple plays they've already seen to make them have to consider things.I would like to see a bigger role than the one he had this past Sunday
The fumble thing was a 1 year blip, coming off the thumb injury from the year before. It was never a problem before 2020 and won’t be again. To me SP doesn't have to overuse Hill to justify his contract. If he chooses his spots and goes with quality over quantity then that's fine by me. Stat wise it will be hard for Taysom to ever live up to that contract but all he needs to do is be great in short yardage and the red zone. Just help move the chains and score TDs. Basically he needs to keep doing what he's always done but with less fumbles.
Actually, when you are a finely tuned athlete with very low Body Fat %, that is exactly what it means.Losing weight doesn't mean losing muscle/strength.
Its too late to add weight back for this year, weight gain workouts have to be done in the off-season when you have time to recover from workouts. In-season weight training is for maintenance, not nearly as intense because you are recovering from games.I think he could be working on adding some weight back and playing mostly at receiver, TE, and ST. It's something to keep an eye on.
I doubt his body fat % was low enough for that To be the case. Yes, he’s a finely tuned athlete. But he still had some wiggle room. He just got more lean.Actually, when you are a finely tuned athlete with very low Body Fat %, that is exactly what it means.
