Hello fellow Saints Fans,

Pat McAfee has Rodgers every Tuesday on the show for an extended and pretty honest talk.
This week you can find here: Aaron Rodgers Joins The Pat McAfee Show After Week 1 Loss vs Saints

Unlike most people on this forum, I actually don't hate so much on Rodgers. And he even acknowledges how good the Saints played their team.
He also gives some nice insights on how the game went and what led to the blowout.

So even for the die hard haters of ARod, have a watch :)

Btw, he shaved that beard at least a little bit :D

Oh and Pat McAfee on Monday was one of the very few shows that gave credit to the Saints for winning the game and not only talking about how bad the Packers played.
I really like that show a lot.

Who dat! Lets move on to the panthers :)

Interesting that Rodgers is a reader. Plugging that book Where Men Win Glory was pretty cool. The book about Pat Tillman who left the NFL to join the Rangers after 9-11.

Pretty good video

I think Rodgers seems like a cool guy. He's a smart dude. Watching his interviews with McAfee changed my opinion of him. He's just a normal guy, honest about his feelings, humble and self-deprecating. He's been awesome at the game he plays, yet doesn't take himself too seriously.

Outkick the Coverage did research on the "double nut" shot to see if he was lying. Brady Quinn broke the down the coverage and sure enough he takes a massive shot to the nuts mid-throw and apparently you could see the pain in Rodgers eyes immediately :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

He was IMO the best Jeopardy guest host, well at least in a tie with Joe Buck. Smart well read dude, yet I still hate him....lol

He tried to check his balls after the knockdown without… well… checking his balls on national TV :D
But even the announcers thought he got hurt

Overall I think he is a pretty fun guy and those Interviews with Pat are some nice insights how the NFL works behind the scenes.

Still great that we whipped his arse :D

People just love a good hate fest. I like the guy, and he is one of the greatest of all time to ever play the position that has been stuck with awful coaching (Mike M.) Imagine if he would have been with Sean P. or Bill B.

Rodgers abilities are undeniable. He is one of the best to ever play the QB position. Rodgers’ shortcomings have always been related to his prickly personality and abrasive arrogance.

Imagine a guy with his physical abilities with the work ethic and leadership of a Drew Brees - it would be an unstoppable force.

As Finley alluded to today, Rodgers never wants to take responsibility for his failures and he often scoffs at the idea of being a vocal leader like Drew was.

Aaron always seems like he wants to be seen as the “coolest guy in the room”. The guy who doesn’t get flustered and can shake off any adversity. But if you watch his over the years, he’s the opposite. He’s pouty and whiny and his body language is terrible. Look at Sunday - that wasn’t anything new, despite what the media wanted to spin. He was like that in both Tampa losses. He was like that in the 2019 loss to 49ers, he was like that in the 2015 loss to the Seahawks. When he’s losing, he starts pouting and pointing fingers.

It’s no wonder Finley, a guy who won a Super Bowl with Rodgers didn’t defend him. Greg Jennings doesn’t defend him.

The guys who had the most success with him are the ones most vocal about his antics.

I hope Rodgers is happy in his personal life. I thinks it’s cool that he has a partner that he really seems to care about and he’s adopted this more “hippy Aaron” persona - but don’t let the appearance fool you. He’s still the same pouty, passive aggressive guy. Or at least he sure seems to be.
