I definitely don’t mean it like that. I just mean that I live alone and when there’s booze here, I will have a drink or 3 mostly every night. When there’s no booze here, I never drink. I’m the same way with snacks. I try not to buy them because again, I’m the only one here and therefore they’ll be eaten within 3-4 days.

My mom can have cookies in the house and they’ll sit there for weeks. Not me. I’m like oooohh there’s good stuff in the house let’s get some regularly until it’s gone. I’m sure there’s some buried psychological reason but whatever. I just don’t buy it because I’m more prone to drinking more often.

This is how it is in my house. If I don't buy shirt, my family doesn't ask for it and we do without it. When I do buy it, count on it being gone in a day or two. It's weird how the cookies, ice cream and chips all disappear faster than everything else, but buy healthy food, it gets spoiled far more often than I'd like. Old habits die hard.

I do agree their songs sound the same but they have a groove which is where acdc made their money too. I mean towards that heavy nasty guitar sound. An old Pantera cake on Pandora earlier...dime definitely had that nasty guitar sound figured out. I'm also a huge fan of drums and Vinnie's kickers were tight. He taped silver dollars to them to get more attack on the kickers.

I literally have listened to their latest album all at once. I played each song timing them to end at the same time and it flowed perfectly. That's not a good thing. An entire album should not mix well with each song playing at the same time.

For me, I think it’s because my oldest brother was a heathen and pounded allll the good stuff within the first few days of my mom going to the grocery store and there was never any left for my middle brother and me. So I grew up with this mentality/relationship with food of “get it while the getting is good” because if we didn’t, we wouldn’t get any and I’ve never been able to break the cycle. Even though the only one eating/drinking it all is me and I have plenty of money to go buy more.

That's most likely why for us as well. If you don't "get it while the getting is good" you gonna get got. I try to make sure they all know we have something they like. But every so often, I'll hide it for me and the wife. I find I have to hide it well, otherwise, my kids will definitely find it.
