As it was so soon, I had to finish reading the thread incredulous that captain obvious had not struck already.Low hanging fruit, yeah.
Are you a lolz kat?!Beyond meat has gives me gas....
Well, if it gives you gas then your probably gonna be labeled a terrorist and be forced to eat veggie meat.Beyond meat has gives me gas because of whatever weird crap they are doing to make it taste like meat. Give me steak or give me death!
Vegetables probably create more human gas than steak.Well, if it gives you gas then your probably gonna be labeled a terrorist and be forced to eat veggie meat.
Completely agree. Made a Beyond burger for lunch. Delicious! I'd still like a meat burger every now and then, but I'd be fine having 90% of my burgers/beef not being real meat (still want a nice filet mignon a couple times a year...also I haven't yet tried to substitute real meat in meatballs for spaghetti). It's really strange to me so many people are frightened by such an idea. If it tastes just as good or almost as good, wouldn't it be great to not have to kill animals while also being at least a little bit healthier? In all honesty, Beyond Meat is very good.
We don't even need to make a fartless cow. We just need to adjust our energy manufacturing. We can make a burpless cucumber but we can’t make a fartless cow? I smell a conspiracy
I don't have time to check but I think this is one I listened to a while back with good info. IIRC, they were actually leaning on some of the prepper lessons to figure out how to move forward. I assume that is about lab grown meat. I think that is something we'll see sooner than later.Completely agree. Made a Beyond burger for lunch. Delicious! Meat consumption is becoming unsustainable for many reasons.
There's a nice casual look at it on the Netflix program, Explained:
I remember years ago one of my history teachers in school was asked what he thought was a norm now, would either be a luxury or frowned upon in the future and he said human's eating meat on a daily basis.
I've gone to semi-vegetarian. I only eat meat if I go out to eat. At home, I haven't bought meat in a few months. Beans are magical.Going vegan was a great decision for me. Lose weight without trying, less expensive grocery bill, healthier options, and easier to decide what to eat, since many options are now off limits.
Hmmm....
