Young couple goes on van tour of US, boy comes back with van - no girl (5 Viewers)

That lawyer doesn't know when to shut up.

I guess that's why he's a lawyer.

Sorry, SuperChuck, but you know it's true.

If the lawyer know's Brian is dead and his lawyer spills the beans, does it matter at this point, as long as Brian's parents give the o.k.? Maybe they want people to leave them alone, so they give them what the want, and everyone goes on their merry way? I don't know.

Being a defense attorney, with a dead client, maybe allows some freedom to speak freely?!?!

I can't see them waiving attorney-client privilege at any point.

Who gets the money of the rights to the story? Somebody is making a movie or documentary.

Not sure if this is true, but take a look at google here....

What does a lawyer do when a client dies?

Lawyers are the agents of clients, and when the principal (the client) dies, the lawyer-client relationship ends. The general rule is that the lawyer's actual authority to act on behalf of the client ends when the client dies.Sep. 18, 2019

Should be the Gabby Petito Foundation.

Interesting. You know, I once knew a lawyer who didn't know their power of attorney ended when the person died.

Your taking this story a bit hard? How angry are you at Brian? What's on your mind?

Him being dead is anticlimactic so it's disappointing. I'm still stuck on him driving back home like he was just gonna go on with his life.

I'm stuck on young women who fall in love with men because they're projects to "fix" ignoring all the red flags in the meantime. I personally have never felt that need. Maybe that makes me a bad person.

Nobody at all has been arrested. If they are, then they meaning either Brian's parents over perjury to the FBI could be. Or aiding and abetting him.

It takes two to tangle, or so they say.

What would you of liked to see in the court case, if there was one? Why did that bother you, when Brian drove home alone? Was it the arrogance?

Why are you stuck on it? You disappointed in woman, men, or both? People have different needs and you didn't want to be someone's mommy maybe, but a wife.

Well, if it was an accident, it's usually you'rey struck with sudden remorse, off yourself. If it's she was going to leave and nobody else was going to have her, it's usually a murder-suicide right then.
You don't drive home, go camping with your family, go on a solo hike (all while the girl's parents have no idea where their daughter is) and THEN say, I can't live anymore.

Yes, I am disappointed in the women. This always comes across to people as "blaming the victim" as if I think they deserve to get beaten for not leaving. What I want is for them to have recognized some early signs and then not get into the relationship. Men or women, you can't be fixers.

No, I def. don't want to be a mommy to a grown man.

You can’t even troll correctly. And yes, you’re correct, I’m sure Gabby deserved to be strangled to death. Poor Brian just needed to get away.
