A few numbers to update for the Saints after last night's game in Seattle...

The Saints have now played the Seahawks 17 times in the history of the franchise and now have the head to head advantage 9 to 8.

Sean Payton now owns an 18-8-0 record on Monday Night Football as the Saints head coach.

With the victory last night the Saints playoff chances improved to 66%. A loss to the Buccaneers next week would drop us to a 60% chance, while a victory over Tampa Bay would improve our odds for a playoff berth to 74%. (This is strictly a mathematical equation based on current records & strength of schedule percentages)

The Saints have played only one game in the Superdome to date (thru 7 weeks) for the 2021 season; which is the longest absence from their home stadium during a season since 2005.

QB Jameis Winston was 19 of 35 passing last night for 222 yards, with 1 TD & 0 INTs. His QB rating for the game was 83.3.

DE Cam Jordan recorded his first QB sack of the 2021 season bringing his career total to 95.5 sacks; currently in the 11th year, all with the Saints.

Saints place kicker Brian Johnson kicked two successful field goals and one PAT in his debut appearance in an NFL game. His 100% success rate is currently the best in the NFL. :hihi:

Well, on the Seahawks forum they are talking about how the official took their chances to stop Saints drives by giving free first downs due to bias penalty calls. So I guess it depends on who you ask.

That's the problem with the NFL....the fans are all biased!

Well, to their credit, the refs did give us free first downs due to Seahawks mistakes. If the penalty grants a first down, then yes, it is a free first down.
