Never did. Not even once.
Actually I enjoyed reading encyclopedias. Seriously.
Lol, Encyclopedia Brown in the flesh? :hihi:

But yeah, if you never read comics, I guess I can see it. I read a bit of both and watched cartoons and comics when I was a kid, so the modern Marvel and DC comics offer a little nostalgia for me. I'm a big Marvel movies/series fan.

If the “cool kids” teased the kids who read comic books, who did the comic book kids tease?

Probably the kids who read encyclopedias

Sadly, I never did a lot of kid stuff even as a kid.
But I try to remember that other people like all that fantasy stuff a lot. That's what keeps so many movie production companies raking in the dough these days, and it keeps the hope of meeting little green men alive in the hearts of many. I suppose that why most folks have a much more vivid imagination than I have. I just try to deal with reality as best as I can.

I'm pretty sure that I was never teased, nor did I ever tease anyone. Neither thing is better than the other. It's just different kinds of entertainment.

True enough. I know it would be stepping outside your comfort zone, but try Disney for a month, Star Wars, Marvel and other classics on there and it's less than ten bucks for 1 month. I currently am on the 3 for 1 plan and get Disney, Hulu, and ESPN+ for $13.99/month.

Don't think I'll change your mind, but I'd be pretty surprised if there's nothing there you like.

If I had the extra cash, I certainly wouldn't be spending it on something that I would have to learn to enjoy. There are too many other things that I already like that stretch my budget.

Fair enough. Just a thought anyway. :9:

Just FYI, just about every streaming platform, whether Disney, Netflix or whatever, has a 1 month free trial, so you can cancel it anytime during the free billing cycle. But, of course if there are other things you'd rather do, free wouldn't matter I guess. :hihi:

Thanks. But I truly don't feel like I'm missing anything.
It's just not my cup of tea. I'm glad that everyone else still feels that stuff is the bomb. (<- Is that still a current phrase?)
