Dopesick on Hulu (1 Viewer)

I've seen the first 3 episodes, and yeah, Keaton and Dawson are awesome in it, as is Kaitlyn Dever, she was also great in Justified and Booksmart...

I am two episodes into this (thanks @nolaspe )

really well done with great acting. Love the contrast between the Sacklers and the people getting the meds at the bottom of the chain. Michael Keaton is fantastic.

I briefly took this stuff until one night I thought it was taking me out. I walked to a friends house so they could monitor me and then I never took it again Thank God.

pretty good read here and Ill quote the part that shocked me. In 2016 they were found to still be saying it was non addictive in other countries.

In the face of a backlash in the United States and Canada, opioid manufacturers are increasing their activities elsewhere. An investigation in 2016 by the Los Angeles Times (see go.nature.com/2z1oa0r) revealed that Mundipharma International, the global counterpart of Purdue Pharma, which is based in Cambridge, UK, had been using similar tactics, such as aggressive marketing and claims of non-addictiveness, to promote OxyContin in numerous other countries, including Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Egypt, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Spain.

Just watched ep 7... truly feel a lot of disdain for the drug companies(namely Purdue) and FDA over their actions concerning Oxycontin.

Ok so I thought episode 6 left a lot in the air but I check wiki and it didn’t say anything about a seventh.

And I agree. They dropped a bomb on the US.
By the way, look up some of the original deposition on Richard Sackler, the actor must have REALLY studied him, because he is dead on with his mannerisms and voice inflection.
