I love short ribs and do a few different recipes. Your ribs look juicy and sticky and really good... what's your recipe?
I've also smoked them and then finished wrapped in foil in the oven, and that methods works decently, but a little more prone to drying out. The braising method is my favorite, but I love beef short ribs so much, so I'm always up for trying different methods.

How do you do yours?

I put a little smoke on them and a little sear on the grill - only to about 130 or so until I start the braise. Onions, carrots, garlic, celery, and usually a bunch of mushrooms (I like them). Also in addition to brother, I use some better than bullion beef base. I also reduce the sauce at the end.

Sounds dreamy. Love mushrooms as well.

I do the Gordon Ramsay way, but yours look better....lol

Also do Daddy Jack's recipe ...

And do pretty close to this.... https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/30638/brandied-pepper-steak/

but toss in the slow cooker instead for 4-6 until the bones separate from the beef.

I do my back ribs in foil (indirect heat on bbq) but have never tried short ribs that way. Next time. Like you say, I love them so much I'm open to anything.

I made a fried egg, bacon and cheese sandwich for breakfast today (wheat toast). Plenty of Tabasco. Man it was good.
