Corona Drinking Thread (renamed) (9 Viewers)

I'm having a glass of extra anejo Fogonero tequila

There aren't many tequilas I can sip on and drink neat and enjoy it as much as scotch, but this stuff is really good

Where errybody at?
Sitting in my recliner drinking beers. I much prefer drinking in the garage but we were gone most of the evening at the inlaws doing Thanksgiving so didn't get home until later. Didn't feel like sharing the garage up so.....recliner beers.

I went in this morning for an angiogram. They found a 95% blockage. They stented that but I'm stuck here overnight.
Man, I don't know if it's luck or fortune, but I'm glad they found that before it became a (much) worse problem. That was probably a little too close for comfort.

I knew that there was a problem but I didn't realize that it was that bad. I knew that I had to get checked when I wasn't sure if I should travel.

It's weird. Normally, I'm always cold. Now my fingers and toes are bright red and I'm burning up.

Did you have symptoms that were tied to the blockage? How did you decide to get it checked? I think I'm at a point where I need to start paying attention to that sort of thing.

Happy Thanksgiving to my favorite group of people on the forum. Beers will be had this evening for the game....probably ~2L worth although could be more with the game going on. Depends on how full I am.

Sometimes, I would find myself out of breath for simple things. Then I started hyperventilating while laying in bed. Then I would be good for a week.

I had booked a trip to New Orleans for this week. I decided that I didn't want to go and have problems away from home so I went to get checked before this week.

The EKG was abnormal so they scheduled more tests for last week. They saw a defect in my heart and scheduled an angiogram with the warning that they would fix anything that was clogged more than 70%. Once they got in they found that the defect was 95% clogged. They cleaned it out and inserted a stent. The only real problem for me is that they went through my right arm so I'm limited with it. I was awake for the whole thing which was weird. I could feel the stuff moving around in my arm and chest but it didn't hurt.

If you're out of breath from doing basic stuff that you normally do, get checked. I would not have suspected that it was as bad as it was. If you feel tightness in your chest, an EKG wouldn't hurt. They're not invasive. The other tests are, but worth it.
